Public Environmental Review
In accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1986, Burrup Nitrates Pty Ltd, a 50:50 joint venture between Burrup Holdings Ltd of Australia and Yara International ASA of Norway, has prepared a Public Environmental Review (PER) that describes the Technical Ammonium Nitrate Production Facility Project and its likely effects on the environment.
The PER is available for public comment from the 8 February 2010 with submissions closing on the 5 April 2010. Any comments are to be made to the WA Office of the Environmental Protection Authority (OEPA). Details of how to prepare a submission can be found after the front cover of the PER or by contacting Douglas Betts of the OEPA on (08) 6467 5406.
The PER can be downloaded from this web page. In some instances the quality of the files linked below has been reduced to allow them to be downloaded from this website. All files in their original quality are available on CD from BNPL free of charge. Printed copies of the PER Report, including a CD are also available for purchase for $10.
